Every year when strawberries are in season, I make this layered confection.\u00a0 The combination of almond and strawberries makes this dish refreshing and delicious!<\/p>\n

Italian Parfait<\/p>\n

1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix<\/p>\n

2 c. milk<\/p>\n

\u00bc \u00a0tsp almond extract<\/p>\n

2 pints strawberries, stemmed and sliced<\/p>\n

2 tbsp sugar<\/p>\n

1 \u00bd c crushed vanilla wafers<\/p>\n

In a medium bowl, prepare the pudding mix with milk as package directs.\u00a0 Mix in the almond extract; cover and refrigerate.\u00a0 Sweeten strawberries with sugar; spoon about 3 tbsp sweetened berries into each of six stemmed glasses.\u00a0 Layer each with 3 tbsp cookie crumbs and 1\/3 c pudding.\u00a0 Top each glass with remaining strawberries and crumbs diving equally.\u00a0 Makes 4 servings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
